The images seen on this page show the planet Earth within the viewer versions: 1.0, 1.3, 2.0, and 3.0.
NOTE: As of 2/12/26, Planet Viewer is no longer being updated. I have uploaded the 64 bit Linux versions 1.0-2.7 (prototypes, some reworks, a few test builds) to 2.8-3.0 (2 out-of-date releases and the final version) to Itch.io for archival purposes, along with a Credits file for textures.
DISCLAIMER: AI was used in this application. It was used to generate the code (2 scripts) and help fill out planet descriptions. Every other part of the viewer (as in planet/moon/star textures, music, Itch images, Itch covers, UI design, logos, and 3d models) was human made. Future games/tools will be 100% human made.

Install instructions
You will need at least 50 - 310 MB of free hard drive space to download Planet Viewer. This application has been made for Linux Mint.
-How to install-
Unpack the zip file onto the desktop or into a folder of your choice. Right click the app image and go to "Properties" then go to "Permissions" then click the box labeled "Allow executing file as program" to X.
-How to uninstall-
Delete the folder containing the app image/data/etc.
